As a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty-five years� experience in the greater Atlanta area, I have been privileged to help serve my community�s mental health needs through psychotherapy, counseling, assessment and consulting. My work includes treatment of adults, children, adolescents, couples and families and at times incorporates �team treatment� strategies with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other allied health professionals. I perform frequent psychological and psycho-educational assessments, and consult with schools, hospitals, court systems, DFCS and other social service agencies, community-based treatment programs, and residential treatment programs.

My clinical work includes, but is not limited to, treatment of mood disorders; anxiety disorders; addictions; posttraumatic stress disorder; workplace issues and disability; couples issues; family and blended family issues; child custody and visitation issues; ADHD and learning disabilities, and a wide range of other behavioral and emotional disorders of childhood and adolescence. I am involved in a considerable amount of forensic consultation in divorce, child custody, and criminal cases, including DUI.

I am and have been on the medical staffs of several area psychiatric facilities, and presently serve on the board of the Behavioral Health Association of Forsyth (BHAF), a consortium of mental health providers with strong ties to the surrounding community. I am an approved provider for numerous mental health insurance plans and employee assistance entities, including Medicare/Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids.

I am assisted in my work by a full-time office manager and a part-time administrative assistant, who operate out of a centralized administrative office, which coordinates both practice locations (Cumming and Norcross).
